Independence Day... Two months since "gotcha" day

Hey, everybody, Happy Independence Day! OK, so July 4 was actually yesterday, but I was way too tired to work on the blog last night when we got home from watching fireworks. Besides, we had to get up early this morning to go to church. There was a picnic at church after the morning service and a lot of people commented on how independent I am getting. I certainly have gotten very comfortable with my new surroundings, my new family and friends in the last two months. I very much enjoyed my first celebration of July 4, Independence Day, as a US Citizen. Here are some pictures of the day's activities.

On a mission to places beyond the reaches of the camera!

Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Chevrolet...
All American Boy!

Ooooooooh, I LOVE these "airplane" rides!
You should try it sometime! I know you will love it, too!

Ready....
Set...
GO!

Sometimes the camera gets sideways
and the video is tipped over, so just tip your head
for the first couple of seconds...
...then we get things straightened out.

While we were waiting to see the fireworks,
God put on a pretty cool show in the clouds.

I kinda like munchin' on these cheese puffs
while we wait for the fireworks to start.

It was a little cold, so I put Mommy's coat
on even though I already was wearing MY coat.

Oooooooooooooooh!

Aaaaaaaaaaaah!
(Though I don't think this picture really needed a caption!)
