Has it really been that long???

Did I hear someone say that it has been nearly two months
since I updated my blog??!?!??!!?
OK, OK... so I've been very busy!
Here, let me share a little bit of what's been going on.
This should catch you up until....

With all the summer sun, my skin got a bit dry and itchy,
so...

I decided to put on some lotion.

Didn't I do a good job?

I even got some on my back.

Gramma & Grampa came to visit after their trip to New England.
They went there after we saw them in Virginia.
Gramma went with me to the audiologist.

Grampa & I helped Daddy fix 2 lawnmowers and the snowblower.

I helped Gramma finish eating her lobster.

And I helped Gramma make mints for my cousin's wedding.

Gramma went to take a nap, so I worked on the mints all by myself.

Gramma made it look easy, but I can't seem to get them to come out of the mold.

We took a ride on a train that took us through the area
where oil was first discovered and used.

The best part of the train ride was the popcorn.

We headed up to Michigan for my cousin's wedding.

After the wedding, Uncle Jim let me drive his tractor.
Wow, was that awesome!

Driving the tractor!

While the other cousins were riding the tractor,
Luke and I made lightning-bug-rings.

Daddy, Luke and I played on the tractor a little more.

Then Uncle Jim let me ride the horse.
He has all kinds of cool toys at his house!

Giddy-up, horsey.

Back at home, we enjoyed fresh corn on the cob.
Yum, yum, yum!

We stayed home a few days before heading back to Iowa.
As we got close to Gramma & Grampa's house there was a big storm.
It rained and rained! (Not for forty days, but there was lots of it!)
Aunt Joyce had 16 inches of water in her basement the next morning.

Across the street from Gramma & Grampa's house there was quite a large puddle too.

Gramma let me help wash the dishes.
She knows how I like water.
Now I'm big enough I can reach everything in the sink if I use my stool.
Sometimes I dump water all over the place.
They just don't make sinks big enough.

One day I got to stay with Ken & Betty while Mama went to some meetings.
Ken let me get up in this "little, tiny combine".

They had a very nice trike that I got to ride... and crash!
I LOVE to crash! It's so fun!

There are so many crashes on our corner at home,
I've learned who to call when there is a crash...
Listen to this!

Ken took me for a ride on the big lawnmower.
We even got to ride on the road.
(Notice how excited I was about my adventure,
until I thought maybe I would be in trouble for going on the road!)

Cousins, Dalton & Dylan, came to stay with us one night.
We played lots of games.

That night while they big boys were getting ready for bed,
I went to Mama and said, in a deep, quiet voice...
"Guille go see Dalton, Dylan. Be right back."
Mama thought that was pretty cute.

The next morning I was waiting for breakfast.
I was hungry and didn't know why I couldn't eat.
Mama said we were waiting for Dalton & Dylan to get up.
So, as I headed for the stairs, I said, "Guille help them!"
Hmf! I still had to wait.

I helped Grampa work on his van.
It was tight quarters, but I managed to get a good look at what he was doing.

Grampa has the right idea... lay on the floor.
It's easier to get to those under-the-car places.

We changed the oil, too.

All that work made me hungry.
I knew there was a treasure somewhere in that cereal box!

I FOUND IT! A raisin!!

We had a good visit with Gramma, Grampa, & lots of relatives.
Daddy couldn't stay the whole time, and I missed him a lot.
One day, Mama said that Daddy was coming to take us home.
I thought she was teasing me.
And then...

Daddy's Here!!! YEAH!

Sorry it has been such a long time since I posted.
I will TRY to do better.
And, I'll try to get caught up to date very soon.

Thanks for being patient. That is... if anyone still checks to see what I'm up to.
That's all for now.
