A lot of playin' goin' on.

The past several days we've just been busy playing and swimming in the ducky-pool. Well just let the photos tell the story. How's that?

Brrrr! This water is COLD!

Thursday morning I woke up with a bloody nose.
I suppose it's just irritated by the plastic tube that is in it.

I've been a great help in the kitchen!

Which bowl did you say you need, Mom?

Strawberry shortcake???!!!

More please!

Warmer water in the ducky-pool...
... and not so many bugs.

I could stay in here all day long!

Hey, did you pour that water on me?

That's OK, I'm a tough guy, I can take a little splashing.

Hey, Mr. DragonFly, you better not be eyeing my
strawberry shortcake. I'll stare you down!....

Better yet, I'll just pick you up by the eyeballs
and throw you off the table. No time for
a stare-down...the ice cream is melting!

Hey, I bet Daddy is in here! I'm going to check...

Nope, not in there either.
I wonder where he could be.

Daddy, are you under this chair?

I love dippin' sauce!
Who cares that the food to dip in the sauce is gone...
the dippin' sauce is still yummy!

Only a few more days before the nose-tubes and stitches come out. We are all anxiously awaiting that moment! We might even go to the zoo afterwards to celebrate, weather permitting. Thank you all for praying for me while my lip and nose get better.

Doc says I'm doin' good.

This morning we took a trip down to see the doctor. Mom & Dad were a little worried that I would be really scared and cry a lot, but I was really brave. The doctor said that everything looks really good and that the redness that Mom was worried about is normal. A bit of very good news... Mom & Dad don't have to "torture" me by cleaning my incision with saline solution and antibiotic ointment anymore! I really didn't like that, and they didn't like having to do it because I squirmed and cried so much.

When we got home I got busy working on the computer. Dad taught me so many things the other day that I am now doing my own blog... see!......

Do you like this arrangement for my blog?

Ummmm, let me think about these pictures.....

After I worked on the blog I headed over to the neighbors' with Mom.
They are still working on getting the pool up, so I thought I'd discuss how things
are going with Chris while we rested in the hammock.

I'm not too sure about that, but Chris knows more about these things than I do,
so I guess I better take his advice.

Relaxin' is a lot more fun than workin'.

Then the firetruck brought water for the pool.
Yeah, I know, I'm supposed to look at the camera, but...
being on this firetruck is too exciting!

Here I am with baby Raya. She's growing so much.
I like hanging out with her.

Here I am with Mike, baby Raya's daddy. He's a volunteer fireman!

Monday AND Tuesday! Time flies when you're havin' fun.

Yesterday I just played a lot. My lip is starting to get a little bit red above it and Mommy doesn't like it. We are praying that it's not a reaction to medicine or some infection. Will you pray for me too?

I know, this isn't my best photo, but you can see the redness between my lip and nose on the right side of my face. The little red spot right on my lip is just some yucky stuff that Mom needs to clean off. You can depend on me throwing a fit because it hurts a little when it gets messed with. Oh, I try to be brave, but it still is no fun!

Tuesday we ate supper on the deck again. I was a little bit distracted because the neighbors are putting up their new pool and I really wanted to go over there and watch.
(After supper I got to go over and watch the big dump truck dump a load of pea-gravel in their driveway. Then I got to play in it. It was dirty, and oh so fun!

Ooooooooooh, so good!

Never mind the drips on my lip, what do you think of my spikey hairdoo?

Tomorrow we get to go back to the doctor's office to have my one week check-up. We'll ask about the redness and some itty-bitty bumps on my face. And we'll ask about this bothersome thing sticking out my left nostril. But, most of all we'll be glad to get the check-up done and come back home to play. Thank you for praying for me.

More Father's Day fun

My first lesson on using the computer. Dad was telling me all the important things to remember.

Then he showed me how to type.

We ate supper on the deck.
I like eating on the deck because I get to sit in a big chair all by myself.

I got Dad a really fun game.
I had to check and make sure he had all the parts out of the box.

And I got to help him put it together.

I think this piece goes here, doesn't it?

And this piece goes right here!

I'm not positive this is what the game is all about, but it's fun in here.

I have an idea! Let's take these out in the grass and play.

I will carry the balls for the blue team.

This is so fun. I get to stand closer than Daddy does to throw the balls.

Here is a video of me cheering for my Dad while he throws the balls for his new game. He's pretty good at it, and I like cheering for him.
(Remember to pause the music on the sidebar so you can hear me in the video.)

Happy Father's Day

Yes, Daddy, did you call me?

I'm too tired, but I'll look at the camera just once.

OK, enough already! I'm ready for my nap!

Lookin' good!

The steri-strip came off this morning! With it came a lot of dried, yucky stuff. Guille didn't like the cleaning of the incision area, but looks a lot "better" without all that yucky stuff stuck to his face. Please pray that he will not squirm and cry so hard when we have to clean his mouth and nose. Things are looking good and he's feeling so much better. Thanks for your prayers. I'll let the pictures tell the story of the day. Enjoy.

This ball is bigger than I am, and sometimes it goes where I want it to and sometimes it goes behind me.

My, what big eyes I have!
I love playing with bubbles!

Still pointing

This is my look of wonder.
This is my "see, my lip is getting a lot better" look.

This is my look of anticipation.

Speedy Gonzalez!
(most pictures look similar to this, so thankful for digital cameras)

See how tall that tree is?
(One of Guille's favorite things to do outside is to
greet the trees and look up to see how tall they are.)

I LOVE ice cream, but....

...oh, the brain freeze!

Daddy, will you please push me around in my box-car?

Great ride, Dad. Keep it up!
