My days recently have been spent playing and helping
Mommy and Daddy around the house.
Here are some pictures to show you just what I've been doing.

I love my swing...
but somehow I always end up asleep.

Yes, this IS a movie...

Helping with laundry is one of my favorite things.
I don't know why Mommy always has to put
things in the basket. It's for me to play in, isn't it?

Remember the day Daddy cut down the big tree in the front yard?
Well, I ALSO have a chain saw and I TOO can cut down trees.
I was working on cutting down Mommy's banana tree that is in the family room
but got my saw down in the dirt and that just dulls the chain.
Bothers!

Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!
At least there was a soft blanket behind the chair to fall into.

I love playing in my cupboard
with all the plastic containers.

But I still don't like to get my picture taken!

OK, I'll be silly for just ONE more picture.

Sorry it has been so long between posts this time. Don't give up on me, though. I'll be back!!

Swingin' Saturday

One day this week I got to play outside in the rain for a little while.
It was quite fun, but the rain didn't last long and it was a bit chilly.

When I came in from the rain I decided to help
with the laundry and sweeping.

I'm don't understand why they say "sweep the carpet".
Wouldn't it be easier just to vacuum it?

Since I'm such a good helper and a good boy, Mom & Dad
bought me this cool swing.

I LOVE IT!
I could spend hours in it.

Ready, set, GO!

Daddy asked me if that was fun and if I wanted to swing more.
Now that was a silly question! Of COURSE I wanted to swing more!

More pictures to share

I don't remember what Daddy fed me,
but Oooooooh, it was good!

This week Daddy cut down a big tree in the front yard.
I had to stand back but I wanted to see everything he was doing.

Wow, wow, wow!
I can't believe that tree is in the driveway.

Once the tree was cut down
there were a lot of sticks to pick up.

I'm such a good helper.
I carried so many sticks to the burn pit.

Look at all those sticks!

On Thursday morning I decided to use the cup
that the fruit came in to drink my milk.
Mommy just gave me a little bit at a time
so I didn't make too big of a mess.

More please.

By suppertime I had graduated from the
little fruit cup-cup to a BIG glass.

I did a good job not making too big of a mess.
I think I like being a big boy and drinking out of a big glass.
But don't worry, I still like my sippy cup.

My Dad and I keep up with the latest family news
when we talk to people on the phone.
He uses the big phone and I use Mommy's cell phone.

Sometimes I have so many people to talk to
on the phone that I figured I might just as well
talk to two at a time. How does that sound?

A busy week...

I have been so busy this week I haven't had time to update the blog. There are lots of pictures, though, so let's get on with the week's activities, OK?

The neighbors' finally got their pool put up and the water isn't toooooo freezing cold, so Mommy and I went over to swim for a while.

I like playing fetch with the neighbor's little doggy.

And I like floating around the pool in this little ducky.
We bought one for little Raya, too, so we both can float around.

This pool is sure a lot bigger than my bathtub!
I'm not too sure about lying down on my back
in this big pool!

After I was done swimming, I learned
how to feed crackers to the dogs.
It tickled my fingers when they licked them.

When we got home I decided I needed to put on my running shoes...

...and do my stretches before jogging around the house.

On Tuesday we went to the big county fair. We saw all kinds of animals that I have read about in my books. Some of the animals are really noisy and some are really big. We had a good time there.

Rabbits, Hens, Roosters...

Hey, a pink pig! Just like in my book!

I liked the wooley lamb.

You mean to tell me that my milk comes from THAT?!

Here's lookin' at you.

The petting zoo was fun and I got to touch a lot of animals.

I saw a really big bear!
(But it didn't roar either.)

I wasn't too keen on the silly clown
and I didn't want his silly balloon.

It was soooooo windy that my hair was blowing backwards.

I liked watching the horses and their riders.
Maybe someday I'll ride a horse.

Before we left the fair we went to the grandstand and watched the monster truck do some tricks and we saw the car-rollover contest. I watched those very closely so that when we got home I could do those tricks with my toys. I have a little toy grader that looks like the big machine they used to push the crashed cars off the track, so I now I use that to push my toys from one side of the living room to the other. It was a lot of fun! I was so tired when we got home from the fair but am looking forward to going again sometime.

I'm a very good helper. I like helping with the dishwasher.

But I still don't like to get my picture taken!
I ALMOST escaped this one!

Remember how I screamed when Mommy & Daddy tried to give me a bath when we were in China?
Well, now my only screams are squeals of joy.
I LOVE taking a bath now.

Laughter is good medicine!

I'm trying to get the hang of dressing myself.
I'm not sure what I did wrong here, but something to do with the feet I think.

I don't know where Mommy came up with that extra pajama leg.

Oh, YEAH! I get to ride a horsey!!

Go, Daddy, Go!
Giddy-up!
