Spring clean-up

Time to pick up all those sticks that fell through the Winter.

Big sticks!! Good thing I have a wagon to haul them.

This one is a bit too big for the wagon.

Guess I'll just carry it to the burn pile.

I told you I'd show you updated pictures of our bathroom.
Here's the neighbor working hard.

World's best neighbors!

fingerpainting... what fun.

Who needs a bean bag chair when you have a bag of laundry to sit on?

That's it for now. Hope you are all enjoying the Spring weather.

bu-bye

It's beginning to look like Spring!

Have book, have shoes, will travel.

Getting ready to go outside.

Since shoveling by hand is such hard work,
I decided to see what would happen if I scooped the snow
with the shovel UNDER my tractor!

Hoping to get a glimpse of Spring, we headed to the home & garden show.
And look, they had this great place for kids to play!

Yeah, I had such fun!

I got to touch a lobster, too.

While we were at the home & garden show, we saw our neighbors.
We mentioned the need to replace my bathtub,
and the next day...

...the work began!

I watched Daddy take the door off.

The tub is out!
Oh, how I cried when they started cutting up my bathtub.
I love baths, you know.

The NEXT day, when Daddy got home from work,
we played outside for a little while.
These snowball fights are such fun!

Mama took this movie through the patio door.

Time to go back inside and get back to work on my bathroom.

I'm not sure whether we have spent more time
at the lumber yard or at home this week.

Brenda went with us to help pick out what we need and to keep me entertained while Mama tried to decide what kind of flooring and tub to put in.

Mama told me that we could go outside and play,
so I put on my pants & boots.

Ready to go!
(Hmmm, which side is going first, the front, or the back?)
(Hey, I put them on ALL BY MYSELF!)

It's a bother when the tractor gets stuck.
Guess I just need to use my muscles and turn it around.

Hey, look! Here's my donkey friend!
He's been buried in the snow all Winter.

Shoveling... such fun, that I just HAD to shovel that last pile of snow.

Oooh, it's heavy!

Well, I need to go to bed now. It's past my bedtime and I'm sleepy!
I'll show you pictures of my new bathroom next time.

3 slurps... and a whole lot more.

What a happy day!

Generally, when we go to a restaurant and the waitress plops 3 straws on the table, I poke it in my mouth and don't see what the big deal is about using one of those things. It always LOOKS like Momma & Daddy get drinks to go from the glass to their mouth, but it doesn't work for me. Momma keeps telling me that we'll work on using a straw.

Well, WEDNESDAY WAS THE BIG DAY!
The waitress gave us the straws...
I pulled the paper off...
put the straw in my mouth...
worked VERY HARD at wrapping my lips around that thing...
and then...
I SLURPED!
And, I SLURPED AGAIN!
THREE SLURPS, to be exact!
I got water through my straw!!
Yeah me!
(Boy, that was a lot of work for three slurps! Drinking straight from the glass in much easier, but I do suppose I'll try the straw again another day.)

The next day, while shopping, we found a great deal on these balls.
Such big bags, and I could carry them all by myself!
I must have pretty big muscles, huh?

We took the balls to the basement and dumped them into my swimming pool.

Careful, don't spill any of the balls on the floor!

What? Really? I can throw them?
I can toss them in the air, get them all over the floor?
Oh, what fun! Balls in... balls out.

Ah, now this is livin'!

I AM Mr. Cool!

Gail brought a really fun game that we played.
What a fun way to work on saying my colors and other words.

Ready, set, go....

Giggles

I'll get this one!

This BIG woodpecker is drilling holes in the tree in our front yard.
Too bad we couldn't get closer to it.

Thank you, Daddy for holding my toys.
Can I dump these on you too?

Yeaaaah!!
