Road Trip

Last weekend we took a little road trip. Gramma & Grampa were in Indianapolis visiting my cousins so we called them up and asked if they'd like to meet us in Ohio for an afternoon and have a hamburger together. They thought that would be a nice thing to do. So, we loaded up the car bright and early in the morning and drove to Dayton, Ohio to meet them. They brought my uncle, aunt and some of my cousins with them, so we had a fun time playing together. We went to the flight museum and saw a bunch of old planes and some newer ones. Some of those planes are REALLY BIG!

Impressed by the displays!

Seeing how this helicopter works.
I got to make it move all by myself!
I'm getting so big!

AstroBoy!

Alright ladies, I think this button should open the roof.
Is everything working as it should?

Hang on, Luke. We're about to take off.

Ooops, looks like I am the one who needs to hang on!

We spent the night in Ohio and went to the zoo the next morning.
It was very hot and there were lots of people there.

Nice goat. Let me pet your back.

Piggy back ride #3.

This fish tank had a lot more fish than my tank has.
These fish were HUGE!

I got to take a ride on this carousel that was built in 1914.
Worked quite well for being so old. I wanted to ride again!

All good things must come to an end. Since we were all hot and tired, we went back to the car and headed for home. Ah, home. I love being home!

However, I did get my passport in the mail this week, so I suspect there is another road trip in the planning stages. Guess we'll probably go somewhere north. (Mama would really like to go show me off to all her friends in Mexico, but Daddy isn't ready to go there yet.)
Anyway, if you're road trippin' at the same time that we are and you see me, say HI and wave real big. Ya never know where you might see someone you know.
