One year ago today...

I know, there have been lots of "one year ago today" posts lately. But hey, important things happened a year ago today.

One year ago today I became a citizen of the United States of America!

One year ago I came HOME!

One year ago I was little, "baby Guille", and now I'm big.
One year ago I played on the steps during the baccalaureate service.
I was wide awake and didn't want to miss a thing.
This year I sat patiently on the steps during the baccalaureate service
so Mama could take this picture of me.
I was so tired that about 5 minutes after she took this picture,
I was asleep on her shoulder.
One year ago... and today.

I'm so thankful for home and for this past year.

I'm looking forward to what is to come.

Hold tight, folks, the journey has just begun.

  1. You are where you were ment to be. One year! Wowee! I am glad to see you how much you have grown! Bitter/sweet that one year has passed - but oh how we have loved watching you grow - you are a delight to watch. So glad we get to share you with you! Bitter/sweet that all too soon you will be walking in graduation. But,in the mean time... We get to love you. p.s. I hear that you might be coming to KY this summer. I can't wait. Bring some of your toys. Love to all. Lou

  2. Are those the same pants as from last year? My how your legs have grown longer. You are not a baby anymore. Joan, I love the last picture, how neat would it be to get one of them every year and line them up. How precious.
    Love, Lou
